Terms of Service
Last updated: August 10, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the services provided by SkyMetrics ("we", "us", or "our"), including our website at skymetrics.cloud and our AI-powered thermographic inspection platform ("the Platform"). By requesting a demo or entering into a service agreement with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Description of Services
SkyMetrics provides a B2B platform for automated thermographic inspection of photovoltaic solar farms. Our services include:
- AI-powered analysis of drone thermal images using Claude Vision (Anthropic).
- Automated classification of panel faults: broken diodes, dead cells, dirt accumulation, and disconnections.
- GPS-georeferenced anomaly maps with PostGIS spatial indexing.
- Downloadable PDF inspection reports with fault summaries and temperature deltas.
- Batch upload of up to 100 thermal images or a single ZIP archive per inspection.
- Real-time webhook alerts for critical faults (ΔT > 15°C).
- REST API with OpenAPI 3.0.3 documentation for third-party integrations.
2. Access and Accounts
Access to the Platform is granted following a demo request and the execution of a service agreement. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- All activities that occur under your account.
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use at contact@skymetrics.cloud.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any purpose other than inspecting photovoltaic installations you own or are authorised to inspect.
- Upload images that do not originate from legitimate drone thermal inspections.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying AI models or source code.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute Platform outputs without our prior written consent.
- Use the Platform in a manner that violates any applicable law or regulation.
- Introduce malware, viruses, or any code designed to disrupt the Platform.
4. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in the Platform — including its software, algorithms, design, and documentation — remain the exclusive property of SkyMetrics.
You retain full ownership of the thermal images you upload. The inspection reports, anomaly maps, and PDF documents generated from your images are licensed to you for internal business use. SkyMetrics may use anonymised, aggregated data derived from inspections to improve the Platform, provided no individual farm or client can be identified.
5. Pricing and Payment
Pricing is agreed individually in writing prior to each inspection engagement. All fees are quoted in Euros (EUR) and are exclusive of applicable VAT. Payment terms, invoicing schedules, and accepted payment methods are specified in the service agreement. We reserve the right to suspend access to the Platform if invoices remain unpaid beyond the agreed due date.
6. Platform Availability
We strive to maintain high availability of the Platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party infrastructure providers (Google Cloud, Vercel, Anthropic) or events outside our reasonable control.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided "as is". While we work to maintain high accuracy in fault classification, AI analysis results are probabilistic and should be validated by qualified engineers before undertaking maintenance work. SkyMetrics does not warrant that inspection results are error-free or suitable for any specific regulatory compliance purpose.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SkyMetrics shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data loss, or equipment damage resulting from actions taken based on inspection reports. Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate the service agreement with 30 days' written notice. We may suspend or terminate access immediately if you breach these Terms, fail to make payment, or engage in conduct that damages the Platform or other users. Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases and we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland and, where applicable, the laws of the European Union. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gdańsk, Poland.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active clients by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
